Why Dashsoftware is hosted in UK data centres
Sovereignty, latency and the simple fact that British operators want their data to stay British. Here's how we did it.
Dashsoftware customers asked, often: where is our data? The honest answer used to be 'in a Dublin region'. From this quarter, the honest answer is 'in two UK regions, with daily backups to a third'.
We've migrated the platform to UK-South and UK-West with active-active failover. Latency for our Yorkshire and Greater Manchester customers is down by an average of 38ms, and our DPA now reflects full UK data residency.
